Burgstädter Berg Riesling 1G 2022
TASTING NOTE
The 2022 Rudolf Fürst Bürgstadter Riesling from Franken impresses with its striking freshness and lively acidity. Aromas of green apple, citrus fruits, and grapefruit dominate the nose, while notes of nectarine and the mineral depth of the warm sandstone enchant the palate. Despite the hot vintage, it retains a cool, juicy character that reflects the exceptional terroir surrounding Bürgstadt. Produced through sustainable cultivation, this wine embodies the character of Franken wines.

Astheimer Chardonnay 2019
TASTING NOTE
Falstaff, “Smoky and burnt aromas, gunpowder and struck match tones, tangerine,
lemon peel, hazelnut. Soft and juicy on the palate with savoury, mineral tones, and
chalky notes. Ripe and balanced acidity, good blend of the Franconian and the
Burgundian styles.”

Hundsrück Spätburgunder GG 2019
TASTING NOTE
Robert Parker, “The 2019 Spätburgunder Hundsrück GG is intense and spicy on the
deep, rich yet also pure and salty nose that is reminiscent of iron-rich soils, iodine,
ivy, mint and raw meat. This is incredibly deep, ripe and fruit-intense and as pure as
it can be; it’s simply great in its easiness and complexity. Full-bodied, lush and round
as well as tensile and fresh, this is a highly finessed and tightly structured, close-
meshed and dense Pinot of great class and style. Surely one of the finest Pinots
made in Germany, and I don’t get any oak flavors here like I did when I tasted this at
the Wiesbaden GG tasting at the end of August. A phenomenal wine. 13% alcohol.
Natural cork. Tasted in October 2021.”

Riesling pur mineral 2022
TASTING NOTE
Robert Parker, “Brilliant in colour, with fine aromatics of yellow apple, green pear,
lemon balm and wet stone. The palate shows a good inner tension and balance
contained in a slender body – this is a wine that rests within itself at the moment,
and promises much drinking pleasure over the years.”
